This is a video demonstrating the 24" paraboloid which is roughly a 75% mirror vs. a spherical shape with a 95% mirror lining.

  • what song is that? title please

  • Sandkirt I mixed, I have a Mp4 I made, email me and I can send it to you, 2 min long.

  • can you line one of the aluminium dishes with the mirrored stuff. like the 95% only?????

  • Yes, I am lining one now. It works perfect. Except for a few bubbles.

  • :-) Day off sounds good. That is a great idea, I see chip companies migrating towards solar potato chips. But I think they just use solar panels to aid in the normal process.

  • @SpaceMan131326 AT LEAST YOU WON'T REMEMBER IF YOU HAVE IT...

  • Hello, I am interesred in your parabolic reflector. How much it cost?Email me at Ariffinhb@yahoo.com

  • @GREENPOWERSCIENCE You should use silver not Aluminum because Aluminum causes Alzheimer's disease, wake up or you are telling people to poison them-selfs, and that is why Aluminum was banned before,

  • I took the 8 inch reflector off an old million watt search light and it made a useful firestarter. Dried broomstraw literally exploded with a pop before igniting into a useful fire.

  • can i get this metal aluminum sheeting at home depot or lowes? how much? and a 12 inch dish preferably? all used hopefully & i'm interested in adding an enclosed thermocouple at the focal point to make some electricity.

  • You also forget the effects of entropy in that of rocks water and soil. - they hold the heat in the capacitor that is the earth. I'm only focusing 32 sq feet on direct angles in the cold - while the sun is closer.

  • ...by aiming the dish though a more clear atmosphere while the sun is closer you negate the claim of "higher in the sky" regardless of the tilt of the earth, the energy at the focal point of the dish is what matters. Energy is focused through a straight line, from a straight line, to a focal point - regardless of ambient temperature. The horizontal captured area is only that of the dish... and its inclinication is designated by that of the season. - you are wrong!!

  • then why are concentrated temperatures just as easy to obtain? by your logic they should be more difficult but this is not the case. 900 and 1000+ degrees are a simple matter in winter with ambient temps 30F and below on sunny days.

  • this song is good to light up some joints on thouse mirrors :)

  • but hey gotta watch the buget
