(CONT'D) Ironically, the seven Wallis-produced titles mentioned were originally released by Paramount - which was acquired by Viacom in the 1990's. Also, "Visit" was one of two titles taken out of Paramount's first syndicated film package from 1967, "Portfolio I," for reasons in this case having to do with the copyright reverting to Wallis (the other film taken out was "Psycho," after Universal acquired rights from Paramount in 1968; it was later resyndicated in 1969 as part of "Universal 53").
Five Elvis films - "Fun in Acapulco," "Girls! Girls! Girls!," "Roustabout," "Blue Hawaii" and "G.I. Blues" - were first syndicated to TV starting in 1972 as part of a 20-film package from Viacom called "Features I." That package included a few Hal B. Wallis productions (besides those, two Jerry Lewis flicks, "Visit to a Small Planet" and "Don't Give Up the Ship") and some Otto Preminger films ("The Man with the Golden Arm" and "The Moon Is Blue").
And now Elvis Pressley in Elvis... That's The Way It Is. EPIC intro by Mark Daliey :D

He was obviously one of those rare natural-born personalities. He had a different style for everything.
