@bowlingfornirvana182 here is another article from College Football Matrix: "The Utah Utes continue their hot streak since moving to the PAC12. Two years and the two best classes in team history. Whittingham can really coach and the PAC12 South, outside of a sanctioned USC and the systemic issues at UCLA is wide open for Utah."
i hope you stock up on sunscreen, 'cuz Pasadena can get really sunny and hot on New Year's Day !!!
that's right !!! according to the College Football Matrix, The U is #1 in producing NFL draftees... the Zoobs are #47... youtube won't allow me to post the link, so go to Google and enter the exact phrase in quotes: "In fact, of the top 25 of producing NFL draft picks from 2005-2011, all but 4 were in the top 25 for recruiting."
@bowlingfornirvana182 I commented to have a good debate, not to be called an ignorant loser. I don't need to prove anything about consistency, Utah and BYU have both been great under their current head coaches. Good-bye comment board and bolingfornirvana182, Go ahead and keep feeling like you have to prove yourself. (BTW, BYU has been to 30 bowls and won 13, =42.667%)
@theradadmiral94 We didnt beat Colorado. With our starting QB and RB out. Congrats. And no, they've won 38%. And your statistic isn't even coherently stated. And speaking of consistency, Utah has won 7 of our last 8 bowls. How's that for consistent? When was our last losing season? And Utah beat UCLA, Oregon State, Washington State, and Arizona. Not to mention you literally ignored everything else I said. Congratulations, you're a true cougar. Ignorant and a loser. 54-10.
@bowlingfornirvana182 At least we beat all those teams you mentioned. Don't bring them up without being willing to take it yourself. Oh wait, you didn't beat Colorado. Oh that's too bad. Talking bowls, BYU has been to 11 more bowl games than Utah and BYU's percentage is actually 43 in favor of wins. A few good seasons mean nothing if there is no consistency.
@theradadmiral94 Alright, historical context for both programs. NFL starters: BYU: 11, Utah: 24. BCS wins: 2-0 Utah. Bowl game win percentage: Utah: 75, BYU: 38. Utah has won 7 of the last ten Holy Wars, and 60% overall. Utah has 3 more conference championships. Undefeated seasons: BYU:1, Utah: 8. Utah also has more bowl wins and wins vs. ranked teams. BYU's 1984 team did not beat a single ranked opponent. Their championship opponent was 6-6. We've also had more NFL players drafted.
@theradadmiral94 Here's some of the gems you've played in those 6 seasons. Northern Iowa, Eastern Washington, UTEP, New Mexico State, and Idaho. Congrats. Refer to my above comment as well as both the other replies I'm posting.
