Knees On The Ground (Walk on Water Easter song)

Knees On The Ground is not my first Jeff Rauschl (MrECLECTICIAN) Walk on Water challenge song. That song is so funny I walk away from it. As soon as I put it down, this song came out. It is like it wanted to be written and sung. And man oh man did I hit a few high notes. Not well, mind you, but none the less, way up there for me. It is kind of an Easter (the real story) song, and a mix between my Hard Rain Suite and Guy In The Sky. Plus there is a little bit of You're All Fluff in the smacking bit.
I have a good friend (Craig Chapman from my Midnight Moon) that recorded a Hymn called Follow Me To The Sea years ago. Still my all time favorite Hymn, and I always wanted to write a song like that. With this song I think I came close. Copyright by BearRon 2012.
