@daggerfuck I agree with you, I'm a recovering anorexic and seeing any eating dissorder being portrayed on TV is hard to watch without letting it encourage old behaviour. The way Blair's bulemia is shown is perfect, it is always there and you see how it affects her, but isn't in your face every week, I think it was a very responsible way for the show to handle the storyline.

@Azlaier Too many young girls watch Gossip Girl. It would risk encouraging them to have an eating disorder too, even if not purposefully.

I agree with MissXMarlboro , they need to resolve this issue, as it doesn't just go away forever. It resurfaces when the victim is at their lowest and it's always there, trying to destroy any hint of happiness and security the victim may be experiencing. For the writers to just overlook it, shows a slight lack of empathy for viewers who may be suffering from the illness themselves, as it doesn't just disappear just like that, it's a long difficult process, but breaking the cycle is worth it <3

@oooh19 nope... Bulimics are mostly healthy weight or a little overweight..

@ceciparra key words: on purpose, sometimes ppl can get sick on accident after eating too much, duh!

I think this scene really captures the emotions you experience when binging, and the shame you feel afterwards- Blair looking at her reflection and realizing what she's done. I want her to face her disorder in season 5- I have a hard time believing an eating disorder can just resolve itself. I'm sure a good amount of GG fans have had experiences like these and it would make Blair seem more human if we could see her struggle with a disorder that effects so many girls- regardless of social class.

I wish they would touch on this issue of hers a little more in the show...they've only hinted at it here and there.
