Tremendous trouble getting the PC version of Silent Hill 2 to accept input from a MotionInJoy and not, well ... crash a lot.

Solution in the end was to have the 360 pad with less controls ass a backup, and to use the Dual-shock with a blind set-up.

All of this just for a new video series of Let's (Not) Plays.

Using the DS3tool with no configuration I'm left with triangle as confirm/attack. Square as back.

Circle as run. L2 as map. Playable but odd. Setting up a profile in DS3tool dosent help as Silent Hill overrides this in the options menu, which I can't access due to the same crash problem.

@edcampion19 Hey, make sure that DS3Tool is actually remapping properly, test it by hitting enable then game controller panel before you even start the game. I had it not stick or switch to the profile before I started the game a couple of times, hopefully it's something that simple for you too.

@CorrosiveExtras Thanks that does seem to have been it. Now I just need to figure out what to map the buttons to. X(confirm) is 1, Square is 2(run), Triangle(map) is 5,Circle is 3(hopefully flashlight)
