Dreamcast Quake3 Arena - Ingame Footage

Some DC Q3 action on maps Arena Gate and House of Pain.

If DVD recorders were around on the 1st of March 2002 we'd have a frag fest of a blood bath worth watching. ;-)

The day in question was when Sega's DreamArena was pulled off air and the true meaning of what Dreamcast Quake3 Online was would be lost forever! :(

Today is December 2006 and the memorys will never die! However my skills have lol.

This movie was made for fun, just a couple of minutes to remind us and to ponder on what Quake3 DreamArena was like. The amount of money it cost to play, the amount of friends we made and the amount of kills we clocked up to later have full colour replays of our games in our dreams from playing so much. Infact I'm sure people had nightmares of being killed aswell. :)

Man Dreamcast Quake3 Online was AWESOME!!!

Last of all "AVIT LaRgE!!!" from a ~TBT~ player who used to use Blue Uriel. :-P

Are you allowed to play against bots in this game? Or is it strictly player vs. player?

@Bludhoundz8 The whole video is me vs. bot's. You can have a max of 3 bot's, plus your self making a total of 4 on any given map. Dreamcast Quake III gets an extra mark here as the AI is more intelligent than the PC version. It also contains the original tier single player mode where you face the AI on their own maps, some changes here and there but your find it's a 10/10 game mode with an extra VMU maze to complete for becoming the Quake 3 champ which is different on all difficulty settings.

@PrrrromotionGiven 1st of March 2002 was the day Dreamarena was taken offline. Your need Dreamkey 3 to get online with a DC today tho that's something I stopped doing like 10 years ago...
