Showcasing more than 100 mannequins en masse, an art installation has been unveiled to market new condominium residences in Atlanta. The display is designed to add dimension to the "Bring Lindbergh to Life" advertising campaign. Mannequins will also be seen throughout the city to symbolize that the residents living at eon at Lindbergh will help energize this area of Atlanta.
The installation blurs the line between art and advertising by forcing people to engage with mannequins in a public space where they can't dismiss them, such as a storefront or gallery. The mannequins at eon at Lindbergh are on the edge of the New Urbanism trend. They establish their own community and invite people to join them and ultimately, replace them.
Let me guess why they went broke.
