Thank you for posting these! I needed to watch them all again to see how faithful they are to the original. I was a bit surprised by how much they were, in fact, close, but how this in particular was out of order with canon. This forced the authors to cut parts of the opening that refer to the death of Moriarty, the reason Holmes was complaining at the start of the 'lack of criminality'.

Watson tenderly picks up his violin, pours Holmes some tea, and says : "Let's have some breakfast, go out together, and see what we can do." I think that's one of the sweetest moments in the whole series.
