Home boy there is no redemption outside of the saving Grace of Jesus Christ. These simple people have more wisdom than those in highest universities.

Good review. One of the best movies I've ever seen. Duvall (and all the actors) gave a wonderful performance. The point was, that BB's character was being drawn there; God had a plan for him. The preacher didn't change Billy Bob's heart. BB's character got saved in that scene.
