Lands Minister James Orengo has ordered those families who were evicted from the controversial Kwa Bulo and Dunga Unuse land in Mombasa two weeks ago to go back to the land. Orengo, who was visiting the two areas, promised to issue title deeds to those who were affected saying the eviction violated their rights. About 10 thousand people were left homeless after they were evicted and their houses demolished in the two areas.
Cant wait for 2012. Some of these clones will be forgotten at least in most counties. The PC is just a messenger who infact represented the government and chances are before instruction fikad Coast they were dicussed in Orengo's office. Bure kabisa.

I smell politics here, but, I'm happy for the residents who are sadly only prolly getting a temporary respite. Its a complicated situation. Kenyans shouldnt be evicted without alternatives being provided to them. Furthermore, Orengo needs to make sure he provides a long lasting solution and not a temporary bandaid that will be painfully torn off by the govt of tomorrow.

In as much as humane actions are needed, there's need to respect laws too. There's too many folks living on some lands illegally.

He may as well issue toilet paper. It will be more useful than fake ass deeds.
