I'm a big fan of his. No, he's not the best guitarist ever - he won't ever be. And frankly, I don't think that he does this to prove that, but rather for fun, and because most fans would enjoy it at the show. However, what I disagree with is that he's a "plain old country player," because you won't see anyone in country music playing like he does. That's definitely true- maybe check out something like this: /watch?v=GC8lZgO_Jlk ... not a "god" but certainly better than other country guitarists.

Right, because it's impressive to most people. Not jackasses like you few people. Not a solo but stop bashing the guy. He didn't name it an Ultra Solo Robby820 did.

@705jb Everyone has therir own opinion,but in my opinion he is one of the best their is.He plays one smokin' guitar.Talk to any loyal Keith Urban fan and they will all agree with me.Have you ever seen him in concert?

@705jb SRV said it best "there is no best". Certainly Keith is a killer player, great tone, all round decent guy. I thought it was fun hearing him play a bunch of different popular riffs.
