Nama Hata in Brighton from end July, 2009 to mid October, 2009.....HH Mahavishnu Swami visits Temple Street and reunited with one of his god-brother, Jaya Caitanya das.
Several kirtans were held at the newly refurbished bandstand for sankirtan and to promote the 8th Brighton Rathayatra. Prasad sweet were made by local devotees and distributed to the public as well as books distriubution whilst the constant chanting of the Maha Mantra to the public.
A Vedic matrimonial ceremony was held on the eve of Brighton's rathayatra between, HG Dina Dayadra das and Bhaktin Jennifer at Shireen Ashraf's residence with HH Mahavishnu Swami conducting the ceremony on a sacrificial fire. The reception was held at Temple Street with a rousing kirtan by devotees. Congratulations to the newly wedded couple and hope they will show they example of typical example of the life of householders in Brighton.
This year we witnessed the 8th Brighton Rathaytra organised by local devtoees whilst HG Dharani Dhara das who had been organising this auspicious event for the last seven years stepped by back, providing us guidance as to the coordination of the programme. Many local devotees and especially the Crawley yatra's provided one of the most maha prasadam that we've seen for a long time. On this note, we wish to express our gratitude to the Crawley yatra. As always, we are very much indebted to the Hare Krishna Festival team, the Food for Life, the UK Rathaytra team and ISKCON Birmingham having providing us the music, prasadam, Deities and the chariot. The kirtan was led by HH Mahavishnu Swami and as big thank you to all devotees from all over who attended this auspicious event, which could not have happened without your support.
On the first day of Karthik, Sita Thakurani deve dasi (cintia Stammers) and Don prabhu hosted the local devotees at their residence. Again, Richard and Kristen also hosted the local devotees fitting into their ever busy schedule and having HG Jai Nitai das to share a few moments.
We also bade farewell to Jan (Checz Republic) who has left for Radhadesh and Nik Romensky who spent several months living with us and tolerating our nonsense. A big Haribol to little Daniel.
I also wish to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to all devotees who have supported me especially on the Brighton rathaytra, it will never have happened with your blessings.
Hare Krishna! All glories to the Brighton sanga!

Wales is never isolated and so are you as you are always in our hearts.....by the way this takes years....remember Dharani was a lone ranger 8 years ago in Brighton. So, I believe your hard work thereat is a yajna and one day when Krishna feels that you are ready then the Welsh may have even better than this. Hare Krishna!
