Shiloh - Primavera (Luke Chable's Return of the 3am Drop Remix) - Mesmeric Records

Canada's legendary progressive house producers Shiloh return to Mesmeric Records this week for their first single for the label.

Shiloh's first outing on Mesmeric was a remix of Andre Sobota's 'Never Before' which shot the duo back into the dance music spot light. Shiloh's new single for Mesmeric is entitled 'Primavera' and it comes with a remix from someone that many long time progressive house fans will certainly be very happy to see again: Luke Chable.

Shiloh's always had an uncanny knack for producing immense club grooves with crystalline flow and super fresh melodic lines. 'Primavera' might be one of their best productions to date. From the futuristic stabs to the irresistibly hook heavy melodies during the drop and crisp production that packs a tremendous amount of pop this is certainly one of Shiloh's biggest club bombs.

Aussie producer Luke Chable has been responsible of some of the most memorable and beloved tracks in electronic music over the course of the last ten years. His remixes of PQM's 'Are You Sleeping' and Gwill Morris' 'Time' often appear in people's best of all time lists and all his productions from the golden era of prog have aged remarkably well and still sound fresh and exciting today. Luke's 'Primavera' interpretation comes with some additional spacey sounding synth accents and a grinding, crunchier groove that should shred even the most discerning of dance floors. The focus however is kept on the incredible melody from the original and in doing so Luke has delivered an excellent compliment to the package.

Shiloh and Luke Chable productions have been very scarce in recent years but that looks like it's about to change. With Mesmeric Records revitalizing the progressive house sound with a new modern twist we can expect to see a new 3 track EP from Luke in the near future and also a new and much anticipated Shiloh / Luke Chable collaboration.
