Becoming Less Autistic Every Week

http://www.option.org - Evan was diagnosed with autism just a few months after Irini's and Ari's second baby was born. Evan's autism symptoms included being non-verbal, no eye contact, no potty training and lots of spinning. They were told that Evan would never recognize them. They were desperate for an autism treatment program that could help their son. They met a family who had run a Son-Rise Program for their severely autistic daughter. This girl had emerged from autism and was now in a mainstream class in school. Ari and Irini began running a Son-Rise Program for Evan. After 1 week he was potty trained and now he speaks in paragraphs, reads, and plays elaborate imaginary games. They are ecstatic!
