Jeffrey Foskett-Cool and Gone 2004

Yes I know not my usual entries, Jeffrey Foskett has been Brian Wilson's musical leader on the road and a touring member of The Beach Boys right up until Carl Wilson's passing. He has headed up the Carl Wilson foundation headlining concerts and benefits for this worthy cause. From his 2004 release "Stars in the Sand" comes "Cool and Gone". Jeffrey's music envokes those special days when music really mattered. Enjoy!

I really like this song, it has such a good feel to it. I've always been a Beach Boys fan but do not remember the name of Jeffrey Foskett. Maybe I knew it 40 years ago. Lovely harmony and sentiments.

Jeff was in the Beach Boys concert "band" and has been a big part of Brian's resurgence in mainstream rock today.

Many writers write songs but I guess Jeff's rendition makes it his song. I think that's what colindominy was saying.

AND - to YOU ALL who've offered up comments, directly below- my god, I have honestly never before come across such a CONSISTENTLY high-calibre collective QUALITY of commentary on one page. My heart-felt congratulations to you all, on your advanced erudition & insightfulness -not only about Brian, my 'til-I-die' IDOL of course .. but about Jeff, Carl, Melinda, BW's children, and that creep Landy. I saw BW & his awesome band in Sydney, Aust, 2005 & also 07, he's A-OK !
