  • question, which is better, ink stick with slate, or just premade ink?

  • @applejaksenpai Hi, in my lowly opinion, both ways are great. Ink stick is the traditional way; it is quite time consuming, but you have better control of the ink consistency/thickness and the process is can be quite therapeutic and "ceremonial". I actually prefer using premade ink, especially when I am stressed for time and want to quickly practise calligraphy for 10 - 15 minutes.

  • can you do Basis characters?

  • @Jerome123435 Yes, I have uploaded a new tutorial video on "numbers". Its teaches relatively simple character/kanji, so do have a look.

  • VERY nice video! And I agree: you are so pretty. Thanks for posting!

  • @elizzievb Thank you. You guys are too kind =)

  • @killer8479394 YOU'RE THE NERD!

  • @brownkv081 Whos the nerd: a woman practicing chinese calligraphy or a retard screaming at someone they dont know that there a nerd?

  • YOUR A NERD!

  • I'm sorry ... I was looking up english calligraphy.

  • How does autocorrect work with Calligraphy?

  • I'm learning kanji (up to 820 so far) and I like writing them, so I wanted to learn calligraphy too. This is a helpful video.

It helps that I already know how to write them with correct stroke order with a pen, now I need to learn how to write them with a brush and make them look good. :)

  • @szevone Thanks, I think I'll try both. Great video by the way.
