@FallenNoobs i wrote that comment because often people look down on indies even though they are very good, while sometimes popular bands are overrated imo, that`s it.
Anyway, among popular bands i like the gazette, A9 and vivid as well. I particularily like vivid because of shin`s voice and reno`s awesome skills on the guitar.

@FallenNoobs Sug are more popular, and you like Sug better. Period. You should check my fav vids before saying i don`t know how to enjoy visual kei (and the fact that you call it j-rock is relevant). Do you like bands such as para:noir, Alsdead, Diaura, Mejibray, Deluhi, Nega? or do you stick to A9, An Cafe, Sug and the like?
