  • That's a pretty silly comment. This arrangement of JJOMD is closest to the original chorale that I've ever heard. Even Christopher Parkening didn't play the continuo during the 2nd half of each verse, which is how the original piece is written.

    Yes, it's a really hard arrangement to play, but she does it beautifully. And it really sings to me. So I'm sorry you don't care for it. From my perspective, that's your loss.

  • It is not ugly at all, except that the arrangement could have been done using few notes with the same effect, so that the not so good player can aspire to play it.

  • I admire this player very much, but this interpretation of J, JOMD is ugly. It is too complicated. Too hard to play and not fluid to listen to. But this woman is a goddess of the guitar otherwise
