Before and after tests of the stock HOTCH (bridge) and 57CH (neck) verses the newly installed Seymour Duncan '59 (bridge) and JB (neck).
Guitar is a 2006 Epiphone Les Paul Standard. Other modifications include vintage .022µf bumblebee capacitors replacing the stock ones.

Played straight through a Marshall Lead 100 head into a 4x10 cabinet.

  • you call that hgih gain haha

  • @pivetlord13 This Marshall NEEDS the foot switch to switch to the dirty channel. I never knew this when we made this video because I don't own this amp. We just put the gain all the way up on the clean channel haha.

  • ...JB in the neck position and 59 in the bridge position?? Were you high and drunk when you slapped them in?!

  • @Krzysmalaki74 No. In my opinion, the 59' sounds better in the bridge and my split coil JB sounds better in the neck.

  • thanks !

  • Golfboy, I don't mean to offend you, but maybe you should stick to playing golf. You playing is so mediocre that you can not get the best out of that guitar no matter what pick ups you install. All the expensive equipment doesn't make up for a lack of ability & technique. You failed to tune your guitar! It doesn't get any more basic than that. OK you may be a beginner. Everyone was once. Ask any great player & he will tell you that most of his tone comes from his fingers, not fancy equipment.

  • Judging by the tuning pegs changing position, and the difference in string shine throughout the video, I assume you used the same guitar all along?(And simply changed the pickups). If that is the case, bear in mind that a string change will impact the sound as well, and that the change of pickups may not be responsible for all the audible difference.

  • Respect for labor. Thaks you.

  • ООчень понравился тест! Все понятно, все слышно.. СПАСИБО!

  • tune your guitar =)

  • @guitarguy610 good eye lol. i learned that so now i hold it with the pick layin on the side of my thumb sideways. ive gotten the best stuff outa that

  • @Golfboyryan Do you really feel the difference between stock caps and pickups to upgraded pups and caps?

  • Beautyful Guitar !!!

  • Did you replace the pots as well as the caps??
