The second in my series is Uplifting Trance, it is also known as Epic or Anthem Trance.
Uplifting is most similar to Progressive Trance except the beat is slightly faster than Progressive. It is the most famous of all trance sub-genre's and was mostly popular back in the 90's.

although i prefer the late 90's, early 2000's uplifing also known as epic or anthem trance, especially dutch trance.

Uplifting Trance is very good, although i think nowadays is suffering very much from some new producers who basically use the same melody over & over again on a lot of tracks, examples: Adam Nickey - Slider & Callista, basically the same as Robert Nickson - Maybe Next Time, Reorder - Come with me to varanasi, etc, etc., and the list is still going on & on, in this week's asot armin played another boring track like all of these listed here, but anyway, uplifting is a good subgenre of Trance Music

All my time listening to trance and I've only classified it as one style......it seems I have some research to do on the different genre's of trance.
But who am i kidding? Trance is just flat out amazing, no matter how you look at it.
