Institutions only exist inside people's mind. People must free themselves from this mental prison.
Sometimes these rules are usefull, but sometimes they are not. I'm not advocating anti-statism, I just say we as human beings are often delusional about the system in which we live. We too often believe we have no choice but to conform to a lot of things that don't truely exist. Government is just an example among many.

  • @gulbirk The non imaginary power of the state is in fact the power of the people.

  • @Guildhelm No, thanks, I want to go forward to improve things.

Everyone knows that the state is just something that we invent, however, it has a power that is not imaginary.

  • I don't understand what you mean by going back 100 years in the past. The state was already there 100 years ago and it has been there for a much longer period. Even tribes of tenth of thousands of years ago were tiny states. As for whether or not I support the idea of going back in time, I would say I support the idea of going back thousands of years ago (as long as respect of environment is the main concern).

  • @gulbirk It probably is. I don't think we should remove the government. I say institutions (including government) are only in people's mind and that its power over people is an illusion.

  • @Guildhelm But government is necesary. If you want to go back 100 years in time be my guest.

Government is an insitution we have made up to make this easier.

  • @gulbirk Still all these rules are in people's head only. We allow ourselves to function on these rules. Sometimes these rules are usefull, but sometimes they are not. I'm not advocating anti-statism either, I just say we as human beings are often delusional about the system in which we live. We too often believe we have no choice but to conform to a lot of things that don't truely exist. Government is just an example among many.

  • @gulbirk Do you feel you need to be controlled?

  • @Guildhelm Yeah we kinda do. Because anti-statism is moving humanity 100 years back in time. And it doesnt quite work.

Taxes are crusially important for a society to function.

  • @gulbirk It only has power if people allow it to. It's in people's mind. We don't need a "way to control everything". The law and order only exists to protect people from sociopaths. We don't need a government for that.

  • I disagree. It is a mental construct, but it does have power weater or not you believe in it.

OK, but we still need a way to controll everything, so whats your sollution?

We cant just say the government doesnt exist, and then just dont have it anymore.
