This recipe is pretty straight forward. The key was replacing the taco shell, which has so much fat and oil involved in making it. This version is just as delicious, again, without the guilt.

It goes to show you that things you think are healthy can really be laden with unhealthy fats and oils that sabotage your daily caloric intake.

  • Imagine the amount of sodium though

  • @ultravirgin For a no-salt version, don't crack any salt on the taco shell, and use the spice mixture I used in my turkey chili video. My family doesn't tolerate that change in taste from the original, so I don't worry about it. We drink enough water constantly to flush out excess sodium before it's stored anyway.

  • looks yummieeeeeee!! hey i love all ur videos, so to me i think that you could make any type and it would be great!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

  • @ihunnieibee Thank you for saying that-- I was honestly a little worried. Hahaaha...

  • Hehe this yogurt danonn in Spain is danone hahaha!

  • I think that I'm going to try this recipe tonight, but because I don't do ground beef I will use ground turkey instead. Also, can wheat tortilla's work just as well? Looks delicious!

  • you can actually cut the calories down even more if you buy the light or fat free cheese. there are several out there that taste really good. also use ground round or boneless skin less chicken or soy . there are several soy products that are yummy

  • dont know where you buy your beef but it looked brown and gross

  • thank you for the recipice and as we say in France : Bon appétit

  • Omg u just transport me to 1998 the first time that i eat taco salad

  • Awesome. Was just trying to figure out how to make them as I have the Taco Salad shaped baking dishes. :) I am going to use Turkey and low fat cheese. They end up being 395 calories each. YEHA. Going to go watch your other food videos. :)

  • I hope you don't mind the tip, but make sure to stir the yogurt before you use it. It won't fall to the side when you apply to the top. I love Taco Bell too, but I made a resolution to myself to cut back my consumption this year. I'm going to try this recipe.

  • شكرا على الفيديو ،،thanks

  • Oh my goodness... Missa... I am now SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO HUNGRY!!! And super jealous that I don't have a real kitchen T_T
