Making Chinese Hotpot part 1

Chinese Hot Pot is one of my favorate foods. Take Prawns, lamb, potatoes, cabbage, you tai, mushrooms and other vegitable and boil them together in a pot. How hot does the temperature of the pot have to be in order for the food(like shrimp) to cook properly?

Just get the water boiling. If it starts to boil too much just turn it down a bit. verything is cut pretty thin so it cooks faster. Chinese hot pot is great!

very easy to do hot pot.. get water, some good seasoning mix is available to flavour water, chicken stock would be good. Get water to a boil and just cook whatever you like!

hahhaha u will win if i do homemake i wont put anything in the pot until i make a good soup base and it will take quite a while for me .. cause soup is the most important part since u cook everythung with it

Hey I visited China a few months ago - a little town called Xifeng in the north and the hotpot was soooooo hot!! Eating noodles with chopsticks was bit of an acquired art as well.
