@TheFreeGameplay2012 I got the RROD whilst having my 360 flat.

it goes to to lights at the end becuz you have the AUX cable unplugged.

This will only work for a couple of days to a month depending on the condition of your xbox i would use this if you actually want temporary fixes like me

okay here's my story: ive had my first xbox crash due to RRoD for about 1.5 years now. when it crashed, my friend gave me his to use/keep it b/c he never used it. Just now, that xbox fell victim to RRoD. i was seriously considering filling out 2 repair forms for both consoles until i saw the price. then i went to youtube b/c i knew there would be the towel trick somewhere. Now, im plugging in my xboxes, doing the towel trick, and living a happy life. @KillerRetardz has it really been 2 years?

Well I got out my 360, stood it up vertically, turned it on... and it worked before even putting the towels on...... damn I'm good at the towel trick!
