ALL the MCIs got retired in one shot, last week. Within a day of retiring, 11-030 and 11-068 were seen on a flatbed near Quebec City heading to the scrap heap... stupid STM... X[

@NovaBUSFan Ohh Noo!!!!! That's messed up. What about the 1991s? I guess STM is done with MCIs as final. Thanks for the Info!!

@gmcbuses Connecticut transit had a fleet of Nova Classics, along with Welland transit, OC Transpo, Several Quebec systems. I have done alot of research on transit systems, rode on them. Very big transit fan. My name is David. just call me David the transit man.

@gmcbuses Niagara Transit and St Catherenes transit purchased Classics, HSR, Detroit Dot, TTC purchased a fleet along with in New york City New York Bus service, Command bus lines, Queens surface corporation, Green bus lines, Jamaica Buses. Many wher still running in 2004, purchased before 1992. They ran up till 2007. In 2007 the MTA should of rebuilt 40% of them to run 6 more years. Gmc Fishbowl buses New York bus service had purchased in 1982, 40% should of been rebuilt to run till 2013.

@gmcbuses In 1986 out of the 100 GMC Fishbowls the NFTA in Buffalo retired, 40 of them should of been rebuilt in 1985 to run 6 more years. the NFTA keeping all of the parts. Instead they wher sold to Bison truck, and bus junk yard to be scrapped. 60 RTS buses purchased to replace the other 60. 15 of those 40 given a life extension rebuild in 1991 to run till 1995. 25 RTS buses bought in 1991, 15 bought in 1995. To increase the fleet 100 MCI classics should of been bought in 1992 to 94, 50 in97.

@gmcbuses The NFTA in Buffalo should of purchased GMC fishbowl buses made in Canada years 1979 to 1984, while they wher still being made, bought 278 of them. Remaining 80 GMC fishbowl buses running in 1989 should of been given a extended life rebuild to run 4 more years. Then 80 RTS buses should of been purchased. Fishbowls purchased 1979 to 1984 2002 all would still be running. 40% running till 2009, to 2012. With a extended life rebuild 100 could of been running till 2013 to 2018.

@gmcbuses In Buffalo the NFTA purchased Nova Classics in 1992, and 1996. Really great buses. RTS buses purchased in 1982, 200 of then wher literally starting to fall apart by 1992. Gmc fishbowls built like tanks made in 1982 in very good shape as they wher the best buses ever made. In New York city in great shape in 1994, ones made in 1972 to 1974. In 2001 I was talking to a New York City Transit Mechanic, said if it was not for stupid local law regarding emissions, they would still be running
That car at 0:10 was not supposed to go in the terminal.
