toyota FJ40 V8 diff goes BANG

This is what happens if you smoke the tyres to many times, something had to give. It now has new air locking diffs front and rear. Not to mention a anti diff twisting brace. It's now bullet proof. =)

anti Wrap Bar would have prevented that, Looks like you already fixed that! Also Fine Spline Pinnion.. (all Aftermarket Gears are Fine Spline)

Nice 40! i Can Peal all day long with mine (Fine Splne Pinnion, and a Beffy Wrap Bar..

I wish it WAS just the driveshaft!! That would be alot easier to fix not to mention cheaper. Getting a new diff head was a mission. =(

its a tailshaft not a diff lol

It looks that way. But what broke was diffs pinion got sheared (diff twisting under load) and the crown wheel lost a tooth. So yeah, the diff went BANG. LOL

ahhh ok sorry it looked like the tail shaft my bad :(
