Thomas L. Brewer spoke at American Studies Leipzig (ASL) on November 22, 2011 about the influences on American environmental policy, and how it fits into the global debate about environmental governance. Professor Brewer teaches at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., and is a world reknowned expert on environmental politics, advising the US government, the European Union, and sitting on the the leading global body for assessing environmental change, the UN's IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change). ASL asked Professor Brewer some follow up questions after his talk had concluded.
