Question: How valuable were those NYT, Shape, Cosmo links in terms of visitors/conversions compared to how valuable the increased rankings were from the blog links?
Just wondering because I used to get a lot of links from msn article comments that worked out well for lowering bounce rate, increased conversions and increased traffic. I'm not sure that they did anything for ranking higher though.

great information. my site (say web tutorial) was getting 100+ visitors from Google organic searches every day. A short while (month+/-) after I moved from a DEDICATED host to SHARED hosting (go daddy) and moved the video clips to BLIP TV the daily Google referrals dropped to 7. What could be reason?

Hi Sayweb, I wish it was that easy for me to diagnose, but that sounds like a more complicated issue than something I can just answer on youtube. Thanks for watching the videos though.
