ah ok cool thankyou for telling me some information, i was just wondering about that battle because the only other robin hood film i had seen was prince of thieves, and i did not see anything with the french in it. i know what you mean by the flags, like the england football logo, and the french 1 with the feather looking things. i have also looked at your page and i am interested in the things you post. have you ever played the game called empire totalwar?

it's great unlike the other Robin Hoods this has almost the mixture of a 'Lion in Winter historical cast with the likes of William Marshall, King Richard, Prince John, Eleanor of Aquitaine as well as Robin Hood

Well I think this is Hollywood history unless it is the Baron's war which did involve a French invasion of England that was eventually crushed..however this is well after King Richards death at least 14 years...
England's old flag was the 3 Lions
France's flag until the French Revolution was the fleur de Lys.. either on white or blue background..
I can't wait to see this film to see what it is...

actually he was there doing pretty much all of the fighting himself. and the guy you have a photo with is just an extra, nothing special at all just like everyone else you can see thats in red. we were the french coming off the boats and we were attacked by the english (russel crowe).
