Charvel San Dimas Style 1 2H Demo Part 4

Guitar is a Charvel SD1 in Slime green. Upgrade include Motor City "Nuke" pickups, better brass for the Floyd, DiMarzio 500k volume pot, new knob, and Green strings =) Playing it through my 5150III. I was really enthused when I got the guitar. I unpacked it and plugged it in and rocked a few Lynch style riffs. This guitar is awesome, but I'll cover it more in depth at a later date. Any problems with the sound is due to the fact that i am just recording on the mic that is built into my computer.

hey man, nice playing, love the dokken rifffs. nice guitar too. musician's friend says neck radius is compund 12-16" . how does it feel to you, pretty flat or really thin? i prefer the flat like a jackson. i'm looking at this and a kramer striker with a 16" radius. big difference in price and unfortunately am unable to test either one before ordering. any feedback is appreciated. rock on!!

@bguy75 The neck is very comfy and isn't too flat (like an ibby) or too thick, It's similar to Jackson's Speed Neck, but the frets have an extreme roll to them. I can't recommend the Charvel Pro Mod series enough as they're great guitars (the USA and Jap versions)! I've had 7 pro mods and I love em'. As far as the Kramer's go, I've been eyeing the new bullseye 84' Baretta.

Hey man, i just got me a new san dimas style 1. I want to upgrade the floyd block with a brass one from floyd upgrades. did you do this? did it effect the range of the trem?

@xtattybobx I have a 42mm block in mine and it does affect the trem range a little. It's still very usable, but I'd say the trem bar stops about a half an inch away from the body on dive bombs. Instead of upgrading the brass block, I've put Gotoh floyds on my other Charvel's and they are rock solid trems.
