Super slow-motion footage at 600 and 240 FPS
Crazy bails
Huge jams
Good trainings
Funny moments
Random moments

Lee's thoughts on his bail:

"as most of you saw i had a little mishap on saturday,
the pain was quite bad at the time but i did my best to keep training,
however when i got home the pain was getting worse so i made a trip to the hospital, there a nurse had a look at my wrists and said i had just sprained them.
then on sunday i went to work and found out there was alot of things i was no longer able to do, like,
open any screwtop lid,
open car doors,
hold a knife and fork,
write,
play guitar,
type/ edit vids on my laptop,
lift anything heavier than a dvd,
tie my shoe laces,
and a load of other things,
So i left work and went back down the hospital, by this time both wrists (esp the left) had swollen quite bad, and i had already accepted the fact that they were probs broke somewhere,
so i got an x-ray and instead of being broke i have severe ligiment damage, and the nurse was kind enough to explain that with regards to pain and recovery time i would have been BETTER OFF breaking them!
So now im looking at 3 weeks to a month of not being able to put any weight on my wrists, which pretty much reduces my training spectrum to running and jumping

Anyway enough of the sob story,
the point of this post is to echo something i read by Chase Armitage,
as i was sitting in work on sunday, after having to ask Marina to cut up my dinner for me, i was feeling a little bit sorry for myself and i realised jus how much i take for granted,
i mean i was born with absolutly no defects, no astma, no autisim, no deafness, no blindness, no disablitys of either body or mind, and yet i dont think i have ever really been greatful of this.

From now on, i am going to be thankful for everything, thankful for the fact that i can wake up in the morning and WALK downstairs, TALK to people, SEE the world around me, LISTEN to music and all the other sounds out there, im going to be thankful for the fact i can live my own life and not rely on the support of a carer, thankful for the fact that i was born in a part of the world where all i have to do for a drink is turn a tap, or to get something to eat i just have to go to the fridge, thankful for the fact that i have a job which enables me to buy the things i want, thankful for the fact that i have a great girlfriend, family and group of friends who love and care for me and prehaps most importantly i am going to be thankful for the fact that i am able to practise the disciplines of movement that have opened doors for me, introduced me to some amasing people and took me to some places that otherwise i would have never have knew existed.

Everyone of us goes through bad times, injuries, arguments, self doubt etc etc, but no matter how bad things are for you at any one time, there will still be so much more in your life that is positive!

For me, it took slamming into some concrete to relise that i am incredibly lucky and i ask all of you from now on to take 5 minutes out your day and just appreciate how lucky you are, and to spare a thought for all the people in this world who were BORN through no CHOICE of their own into disability, povety and generally worse iving conditins than any of us.
I hope everyone who reads this is well and i wish all of you happines in every aspect of your life. . . . . . . . . NOW GO OUT AND TRAIN!

EL

"There is only one today. What are you going to do about it? Sit around and watch it go by? Go outside, look at the sky and beg the sun to stay in one place forever?
Day by day you're laying a brick on your life's road, and the way you lead it is how people are going to remember you. There is a very fine line between living and existing. When you exist, you just slide through your life without doing anything outside your comfort zone.
When you live, every day is a celebration and everyone knows it. "
-Chase Armitage

"If you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it'll spread over into the rest of your life. It'll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level."
-Bruce Lee"

  • @hugh9mac Final Cut Studio, yes it does. Final Cut Express is more than reasonably priced and very affordable though.
