@RickySouthwell Well as you know a few idiots spoil it for everybody else, if I'm around when you visit I'll open the cars for you, I try to volunteer at least one Saturday a month.

@521pd i heard you can sit inside them, i don't wanna damage them or anything like that, i want to be a police officer and i think it would be cool to sit in the front driver seat of an old school police car

@RickySouthwell, I try to lock the vehicles, folks do not respect these historical cars, there has been a lot of damage done already. The helicopter is unlocked, I spent my 25 year career around police helicopters so I don't mind if kids break them, hate it when the cars are messed with!!! I own several police cars & I do not allow any shenanigans!!!

Audio tour to be installed Sept. 2010. SLA display coming early 2011. Please support this fantastic museum. History needs to be preserved for future generations. The vehicles must be protected from the elements. Help us to build a garage so we can preserve & restore these great artifacts. Visit LAPHS.org!!
