My friend, a huge Yankees fan, just passed away at age 48. He left his 2 sons, 5 and 8. He went to a Yankee game with his older boy and his father. On the HUGE billboard, they announced, "WELCOME, MAX, TO YOUR FIRST YANKEES GAME!" And the little boy asked, "How did they know I'm here?" His Grandfather said, "Because your father knows big people! He has Derek Jeter in his phone book." Ha! The man who did that for his son is now DECEASED, just a week ago.Steve Kurtz...MISSED GREATLY!!!!

I will miss the old yankee stadium a lot of legends played there, they should make it a national landmark but they didnt. im going to post a video response of a talking smashers baseball I have it plays take me out to the ball game as well as lets go yankees and (bat crack) home run yankees. the video response im posting is for all NY Yankees fans on youtube.

its funny as some so called "yankees fans" that they agree with the roid sox cheap seats rather than yankees. to tell the truth as a true yankee fan i wouldnt want to sit in a garbage stadium dats always filled with retards cause it can only lol fill 34,000 fans which is wat rays and toronto average per game. the roid sox stadium smell like shit looks like it was never cleaned. yankees stadium is total opposite its not stinky and looks like a true stadium

As a Yankees fan, I have to agree. Have you seen the video here about the luxury suites? That makes me want to throw. Baseball is NOT about sitting in luxury seats drinking champagne it's about sitting in the cheap seats with your glove on eating hot dogs and drinking beer with the real fans.

Even though the new stadium has fewer seats, they still can't fill them. I hate to say it, but the Red Sox have the right idea.  They have a great ball park and have filled it every game for years.
