With a bum leg and foot from Nam, and having dropped my 1,300 lb Honda Gold Wing (loaded with passenger) at very low speeds a few times making u turns on grades or in tight places, I decided to turn it into a free standing machine with these stabilizer wheels.
Once the trailer hitch is installed, it is a matter of 5 minutes or less to take the Tow-Pac,Inc. Insta-Trike kit off and be back to 2 wheels.
I took it off once, but put it back on because it is so much fun. It makes me feel good about driving on gravel or slippery surfaces.
It will not tip over either and I can drive all speeds and take turns confidently.
I have put over 10,000 miles on it since I installed it last year and must say, driving it is a lot of fun too.
So if you have a bum leg like me or are having trouble holding it up, you might like this alternative.
I sure do and for thousands of dollars less than a regular trike kit. This was worth it...especially if you have a bad leg and still want to ride.
Check out http://www.tow-pacinc.com for models, etc. Thanks for watching.

@IntenseSoldier It's still there. The kit bolts onto the frame so you don't remove the original rear wheel.

Thanks for this video. I've had rheumatoid arthritis since age 5 and though I got my M on a little 150 2 wheeler, I know I will need a trike when I move up to a bigger bike. Someone told me trikes are actually harder to ride because you have to steer them rather than lean. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks!

Ill never understand bikers who buy a fucking goldwing, if you want comfort then buy a damn car.

NightFlyyer... I forgot to ask... if the side wheels have torsion linkage do you steer the bike as a trike... or can you lean the bike like a 2-wheeler? If it steers as a trike... even though now you keep the side wheels on... is it hard to transition your instincts to steer between the 2 and 4 (trike) set up?

NightFlyyer... I've been a street rider for almost 25 years and that could be a great idea for my wife if we get her a Bike... her knees aren't the best in the world for holding up a bunch of weight! I served in the Marines for 8 years, and am a Disabled Vet. I just wanted to say "Thank You for Your Service to Our Country"... I salute you for your service!! Semper Fi!!!
