Just a little video to show how to use straps on front squats if you don't have the wrist flexibility to do the with a clean grip. Cross armed front squats suck. :)

  • I have the same problem. The higher my elbows, the sharper the angle on my wrist and more painful. I have tried cross-armed many times with the Sting Ray accessory and my shoulders somehow start dropping (more loose base than with clean grip). Definitely going to switch to wrist strapped. Thanks, Stu!

  • Awesome! I'm going to try this. I can't seem to keep my elbows up and my wrists get friggen sore.

  • @KettlebellLifter just let go of the straps and let the weight fall forward,

    easy enough

  • OK I like to do it that way, no stress on the bent fingers. But what to do when you fail using heavier weights ? Is it easy enough to throw or drop the weight and not risking it falling down on your knees ? I wonder.
