  • You know why we do fireworks? 年(Year) in the past was believed as a vicious animal and people was afraid of it. In New Year Eve people do fireworks to scare it away so we can have good lucks in next year. That's the reason why we have fireworks in New Year's Eve. Nowadays, we know 年(Year) is just a time unit but we still keep the tradition on. Does the explaination make sense?
