  • I, too, believe that Street Fighter II definitely belongs to the list.

It's been such a hit at the time (i remember buying the console for that very game).

If anything, it has defined the SNes a lot more than Mario Paint did...

  • @Bangoo2: yes, Street Fighter II is one the best SNES-games, but it didn't "define" the platform as the other games in the video - since it's available on every other platform around.

  • You'd need at least a top 50 to have every game on the list.

  • Mega Man X and Killer Instinct on the list. I loved it.

  • @madcapoperator I agree with you madcapoperator. Street Fighter 2, the first version, is a milestone. Everybody was crazy about it when it was released.

  • I was also happy to see mario paint in there :P

  • Super Metroid BETTER be in there.... it not only defined the SNES, but was the best video game of all time

  • good list one my personal favorits where breath of fire 2 and illusion of time/gaia the rest of your list is the thruth

  • @applemctom yeah, i think the game i played the most other than ff3 was sf2 on my snes. super metroid got boring after the second playthrough.

  • His list was good there was games I was thinking of too that he didnt post but I understand why he didn't He seriously for the most part coverd all the games that needed to be mentioned I think he could have left All stars out sense those are Nintendo games. That would have opend up one more slot yoshis island too would have opened up a slot. Also all the mortal kombats were better on super the sega controler sucked whoever says otherwise got used to it but no L and R only 3 buttons fuk that.

  • Pretty good games, but IMO FF2 Blows 3 out of the water and was way more defining!

  • Missing SF2, Gradius 3 (or Axelay) and Earthbound. Otherwise, great list.
