A dear friend of ours, Stacey Doss, and her adopted child of 2 years, Vanessa are in danger of being separated by the courts of California and Ohio, and returned to her abusive birth father. You can find out more at www.operationvanessa.com.

This video is about a group of children who heard about Stacey and Vanessa and put up a lemonade stand to raise money for an emergency appeal. Through their hard work, and the kindness of strangers, they were able to raise over $600 putting Stacey over the top on the $7,500 she needs immediately for the appeal. Thanks to these children and the generosity of countless others, Vanessa and Stacey once again have a reprieve, although the battle is far from over.
