Senator Collins Speaks on the Senate Floor about the New STOCK Act

Senator Collins, Ranking Member of the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee, spoke on the Senate Floor recently regarding the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge or (STOCK) Act.

The Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committee held a hearing on December 1, 2011 on the subject of insider trading among members of Congress which revealed ambiguities in the law and raised questions about its strength and clarity.
