...I've never gotten Writer's Block in the middle of a oneshot anymore...then again, I also procrastinate...like a lot. Anywho, just enjoy it. *Shrug* My latest obsession: Scott Pilgrim. Random information. I'm also very obsessed with Degrassi and cannot WAIT for the new season! Anyone else watch Degrassi? xD
They led him into his own apartment, where Nick pushed him lightly onto his bed. "Sorry, dude. I guess you're gonna have to sleep in your clothes, cause I'm not changing you out. Joe threw a lousy dismissive hand as he scooted up further to lay his head on the pillow. Nick sighed, "Well, I guess the only thing I can do is take off your shoes. He leaned forward, yanked Joe's shoes off, and set them on the floor at the foot of his bed. He grabbed Demi's hand and they walked out together. Except Joe didn't know, because as soon as his head was on the pillow, he was fast asleep.
The warm rays from the sun made Joe open his eyes, but he was soon greeted with the unwelcoming feeling of a hangover. He groaned and rolled off of the bed. Visions blurry, Joe spotted an array of colors on the counter. He stumbled his way over to them, and realized they were flowers. A blank notecard was jutting out of the middle of the bundle of tulips. Joe took it out and stared at it. The memory of him promising to send Ashley flowers popped in his mind. He ran over and grabbed a pen from his desk, and went back to the counter to sit in the stool. The spinning stool spun as he thought of a cheesy expression to write. It was going to be a lot harder, since he was hungover and not fully at thought; but he soon began to quickly write away.
"I don't know, Nick. Joe's been acting a lot weirder lately." Demi said. Nick followed behind her into the den of his parents' house. "How so?" Nick asked. "He seems pretty normal to me."
The only problem was, Nick had no clue what happened to Demi last night. Thinking about what Joe said to her, Demi sat down and grabbed onto the nearest pillow she saw. Joe was right; he did know what he was saying last night. If he were sober in that car with her, he would not have said anything to her at all. The rude remarks that he once made against her stopped months ago when they decided to start over. Now, they would both only talk very little, just like a mutual agreement; there was nothing special left in their relationship.
"Honestly, you have no idea how wrong you are." Demi mumbled when Nick sat beside her. He put his arm around her and said, "What do you mean?" She had said too much and immediately shook her head. "It's nothing." Demi said.
Nick wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "It sure does seem like something. Did he say anything mean to you again?"
"No, no," Demi replied. "It's something else."
"What is it, then?" Nick looked at her. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Nick removed his arm from Demi and stood up. "I wonder who that could be." Demi shrugged and stood up after him. The doorbell was rung again. "I'm coming, I'm coming!" Nick jogged to the door, with Demi behind him. He opened the door to nothing but his neighborhood. Demi frowned, and looked down. A bouquet of tulips sat in front of them on Nick's doorstep.
"I wonder who these could be from?" Nick picked them up, and searched through them for a card. Finding the card, Nick picked it out from its holder and read it out loud.
"You make my day brighter, Demi. Signed, anonymous."

This is one of my favorite stories on yt i was seriously freaking out when i saw you had posted! i loved this chapter... i think it's kinda obvious joe sent the flowers but who knows right?
