  • This is a blast. Peter Sellars is hilarious. The score is really great, don't judge by this one scene. Funniest deadpan and over-the-top drug scenes ever on film. Post the scene where he first introduces the special brownies or the scene with the deep-voiced policeman(?) tries on the dress. Great 60s movie.

  • jeezus, why did I ever give up pot?

  • @clumpft No one likes a quitter... :)

  • love when he is trying to take a bath and he says you have to join me im totally immersed in liquid....then all the party people show up and join him in his bath.

  • Wild and funny. I need to see the entire film. I got a laugh out of this one.

  • @MsPysanky

incorrect sir, the pink panter series began in the 60s starting with "the pink panther" (1963), then "a shot in the dark" (1964), then it returned in the early 70s with "return of the pink panther", and the other ones. leading up to the ones in the 80s without sellers, "trail of the pink panther" & "curse of the pink panther".

  • They showed this movie on tcm last night. At the beginning was pretty blend. Then it gets hysterical. But the end I was in stitches

  • The Monkey should have won an Oscar

  • I love brownies.

    XOXO

  • @hrishichowgule This movie was released in 1968. "The Pink Panther" series of movies were made in the 1970's ('75-'77). Peter Seller's passed away in 1980.

  • I love this movie! "Oh Yes! Gertrude Stein! She used to live on Oakland". The writing, the acting, the theme of this movie makes it a classic. I have never been able to find it on DVD. It's a shame. Such a funny, relevant movie. "I have butterfly". Twice he doesn't marry Joycelyn, and there goes the jello cake! I love the scene the first time everyone eats "the brownies" and Joyce Van Patten keeps yelling, "Don't say bathroom"! What a wonderful, funny, actor/actress packed movie.
