  • Hi aquariusvending, thanks for your comments. If you use frit with the same COE as the glass there is no problems with compatibility, window glass is COE 82

  • yes it's non tempered window glass, i use window glass all the time, very occaisionally i have a problem if I'm doing a set of coasters and one has the tin side up and comes out slightly different in colour.

  • great video! I have been fusing tempered glass, discarded stainglass, and frit made from gin bottles...now I am inspired to fuse/slump window glass!!

  • what type of mould was used?

  • Great video Jill. Have you ever had compatibility problems when using frit between the glass pieces?

  • This was fascinating! Are you saying you used non-tempered window glass in this project? Instructors always say you can't fuse float glass, also known as window glass in America. But this is what you are using? Thanks for a wonderful idea! Take care, Sue
