110 channel tuners were typical during that time.
My very first VHS VCR is from 1990 and it still only does 110 channels (meanwhile my first TV, also from 1990, does 181 channels.)
The blue tint just means the gray scale needs readjusted. There would be Red/Green/Blue bias (background) and 2 or sometimes 3 drive adjustments (usually one of the drive colors is on max) to adjust white balance. These are usually located on the CRT neck board.

Something to look into. It's really not that big a issue, I thought I'd mention it.
On a somewhat related note-When I got this about a year & a half ago, the picture was darker than it should be; even with the bright & contrast knobs turned up. I took the back cover off, and adjusted the screen intensity knob.
To be honest, I don't know how people treat these old TVs before giving them away to Goodwill or Salvation Army or something. Sometimes they work. Others need work. Makes you think.
