In California, if it wasn't you driving the car, you don't have to tell them who was. This lawyer showed Chan. 17
how to handle the situation.

What if? What if what? And what is Amerika?

  • @MrGrizmint

If don't want to get ticketed, don't run the red light. It's simple as that.

  • I'll rat on the driver the day the poeleece rat out their corrupt partners and their thug Union Brotherhood stops having press conferences saying how they're supporting their brother cop for beating/murdering innocent victims.

  • @nyc1164 Fortunately, in Amerika we still haven't changed the Constitution to include the "what if " laws, numbnuts.

  • These cameras are run by PRIVATE COMPANIES and are not enforceable. Please research people.

In California, it does matter who was driving; only the driver is responsible for red light camera tickets. This is because California law treats a red light camera ticket as a minor criminal violation, just like any other moving violation. Most other states treat the camera tickets as a civil matter, like a parking ticket.

California's need to ID the actual driver has led to the creation of a unique investigative tool, the fake ticket, or Snitch Ticket. Google it.

  • He still should have paid the fine, You are responsible for you car no matter who is driving.

  • @nyc1164 yea, but since it was some BS red light big brother camera asking for free money for a red light violation...probably not

  • If the that driver killed someone, would you tell them now?
