Old Fishingboat, old engine

My Old Fishingboat with a nice sound in the exhaustpipe. It has a variable pitch propeller and only one cylinder.
The engine makes 12 hp and weights about 370 kg.
Marna M1 built in 1961 by Mandals engine factory, Norway.
The boat is built at the westcoast of Sweden.

what rpm does this engine idle at?

@johndeere4300 This engine has a maximum rph at 1500 r/m, but I don´t think any normal people will run it on maximum speed :) I think it´s around 300 r/ m at idle. At cruisingspeed it´s arond 1000 r/m

Great boat , great engine, great tickover . Max revs about 100 rpm - you wouldn't want to push it any harder - it would spoil the sound!

i love the hollow sound that comes from the exhust pipe at the end of the video it sound really cool and i could listen to that engine all day

@johndeere4300 I'd estimate about 120 RPM--I counted 60 RPM in 30 seconds before it sped up!

we have an boat with adjustable pith propeller and we have a wheel that you can turn for throttle and pitch in 1 so if you turn the wheel right all the way its full throtle forwards :D
