@80snostalgiafan yeah he'd be around the same age as Carroll Spinney!!! and he STILL works on sesame street as big bird and oscar! its not fair that the good singers never last! i mean MIchael Jackson and Whitney within 3 years of each other! and yet we STILL have lady gaga! oh my i think i puked a little into my mouth when i said that!
@jusaLOSER He died n Febuary 1989 at age 51 of some kind of rare disease. I dont know the details much but it really is a crying shame. That saying only the good die young is so true. He should still be with us today making songs for Sesame Street.

@johnhs3SoCal : To me he kinda looks like the original Gordon. I don't think it's him though. Could be.

Did Joe record this song after having some Port or other alcohol? It sure sounds raspy like he did this after a party lol.

The last runner looks like Arthur Ashe, who also did another SS skit hitting tennis balls to letters of the alphabet.

Thanks for reposting. This and the "a little more later on" (where he sounds like B. J. Thomas) are my favorite Joe Raposo songs from SS.
