what process do you go through when u make riffs/songs? i write some of my own stuff but whatever i start is hard to finish, like ill get a couple sweet riffs and get stuck from there. words of wisdom?

@Duckdude419 Hmm...try writing when u are in delicate emotional status, like extremely sad, or happy or angry or whatever. Don't make anyone interrupt you in your work. Work alone, and favorite place (like your room or something). Stick to the main theme of your song, like 1 riff or something that will go trough whole song, then try to modify it and get new catchy sound. There are few more things, but those are most important to me...
