  • Great vid!!

  • @PhantomDrums917 Thanks so much.

  • Thanks deedub87. Glad you noticed that. I do it for two reasons. The first is it allows for less slippage of the stick while isolating. The other is I am trying to simulate the position of the thumb as close as possible to the natural position it would be in while all the fingers are there. However I may be over compensating the slippage position since i don' t really play traditional grip as much any more. I may be losing my touch. :-) Thanks again.

  • Great vid nice control

  • That thing where you only play with your fulcrum is very confusing...and hurts Lol (is that normal o-o) bc my teacher does that a lot especially if we start playing wrong on our left

  • beautiful match grip! :P

  • Looks and sounds good man...one thing I noticed is when you move the stick with only the fulcrum (thumb) you curve or bend your thumb. It seems the only time you position the thumb like that is when you are only playing fulcrum. Maybe try keeping the thumb straight when only using the fulcrum and when the other fingers come in to play the thumb will be more used to that position. Either way it sounds good when you play so maybe it doesn't matter, just an observation. Take care.

  • Very helpful; thanks, Jason.
