Schubert composed this Sonata por Piano and Arpeggione D-821 in November,1824...The ' Arpeggione ' a strange mix of violin and guitar was created by J.G.Staufner and had a short-life...later replaced by Cello.
Here a wonderful perform of the version for piano and viola, by Argerich and Bashmet. Bravo !
